Oppo has announced permanent price cuts on three of its smartphones in India. The Chinese manufacturer made the announcement after slashing the prices of the A3s and A5 earlier this month. The company has confirmed Gadgets 360 that the list of smartphones that have received the new prices comprises the Oppo A83 (2018), F9, and the F9 Pro. There is a price drop of as much as Rs. 2,000/ The new prices are importantly rolling out through online and offline retail channels in the country under the company's "Merry Christmas and New Year 2019 Special Offer". The offer sees a partnership with Bajaj Finserv to offer the smartphones with EMI options until January 31.

With the new change, the Oppo A83 (2018) 2GB price has been dropped from Rs. 8,990 to Rs. 8,490. The Oppo F9 that was launched in India back in August at a price tag of Rs. 19,990 has now been priced at Rs. 16,990.
