Samsung's foldable smartphone slated to release early this year is one of the most anticipated devices of 2019. The smartphone is rumoured to be called Galaxy Flex/Fold and is expected to debut as part of the new Galaxy F-Series. It has been leaked various times in the past, and now a new report brings details regarding the camera setup. The foldable device is expected to sport a triple camera setup - a dual camera setup and the third bearing super wide-angle capabilities. The smartphone's display specifications has also been tipped alongside.

South Korean site ETNews, citing people familiar with the matter, claims that the Samsung foldable smartphone will be equipped with a triple camera setup. The two main sensors will be accompanied by a third super wide-angle sensor for more composition in photos. The report states that the foldable smartphone will sport the same triple sensor setup as on the upcoming Galaxy S10 series. It elaborates that two variants in the Galaxy S10 series will sport triple lenses, while rumours indicate that the most premium variant will sport a quad rear camera setup.

The report states that the triple camera modules will be supplied by Samsung's subsidiary Samsung Electro-Mechanics. The foldable device will sport a 4.58-inch display when folded, and increases to 7.3-inch when used without any folds. The initial volume is reportedly expected to be at one million only, as Samsung will look to test waters before increasing mass production.
