We've been hearing that Samsung is planning a premium variant of its flagship smartphone, expected to be dubbed the Samsung Galaxy F. Now two new sets of images of the alleged device are doing the rounds of the Internet via anonymous tipsters.

Two sets of images posted showcase the alleged Samsung Galaxy F posing indoor and outdoor (see above), in black colour variant, in-line with previously leaked images featuring a brushed metal finish on the rear panel.

Last week, the famous tipster @evleaks had also posted a press render image of the alleged device in white colour variant. "Another alleged image of the supposed Samsung Galaxy F," the tweet read.

Notably, both sets of images of the Black (via Phonearena) and White (via @evleaks) variants showcase the same brushed metal styling on the back cover and what seems to be the heart rate sensor below the rear camera (rumoured as a 16-megapixel sensor with added OIS). Other than that, the alleged premium variant will also have an aluminium chassis instead of the chrome plastic frame, as from an earlier report.

The rumoured specifications also include a 5.3-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixel) screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3GB of RAM. It is also reported to be a limited edition smartphone, due to the expensive nature of its Super AMOLED QHD display.

While the tech industry is speculating the device to launch sometime in September alongside the iPhone 6, it is clear that Samsung will certainly not introduce the device on its upcoming 'Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014' event in New York on June 12, where it is expected to showcase its new Galaxy Tab S series of AMOLED tablets.
