Samsung Galaxy Note II now up for India pre-orders

The latest iteration of Samsung's phablet, the Galaxy Note II is now up for pre-orders from the Samsung's official India e-store. An advance rental of Rs. 5,000 is being charged to customers who want to get their hands on the device and this amount is non-refundable.

The company is offering a free desktop dock worth Rs. 2,399 with every booking. As of now only the Titanium Gray colour is being offered while the white one remains out of stock.

Customers will be issued an electronic coupon against the advance payment made by them for pre-booking the Galaxy Note II. They can also choose to be notified by mail regarding the availability of the device.

There is no word on the official pricing of the phablet yet but we hope to see it being revealed soon considering pre-orders have begun.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II was first unveiled at IFA this year. The smartphone-tablet hybrid sports a huge 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display. It comes with Android Jelly Bean on-board and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

The device features an 8MP rear shooter and a 1.9MP front camera. Like its predecessor, the Galaxy Note II comes with the S-Pen stylus for taking notes on the device. It has a 3100mAh battery and has 16GB internal storage expandable upto 64 GB via microSD card.
