We are just done with Galaxy Note 8 launch and can concentrate on leaks for the Samsung Galaxy S9 models that are expected to come out early next year. Samsung Galaxy S9 models have now been tipped to include a rear-facing dual camera setup, which was notably missing on Galaxy S8 models but introduced by the company with Galaxy Note 8.

As per KGI Securities' well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a decent track record in terms of providing information in tech space, Samsung will be including a dual camera setup on the Galaxy S9 models similar to the one found on Galaxy Note 8, as per a report by 9To5Google. However, the analyst reportedly couldn't provide details about the specifications of the dual camera setup at the moment.

Apart from the information about the Galaxy S9, Kuo has reportedly said that he expects overall Galaxy Note 8 shipments to range from 12 to 14 million for 2017. Further, he suggested that Samsung is working with Himax and Egis to help develop the under-display fingerprint scanner on Galaxy Note 9.

While Egis is said to have the algorithms required for the under-display fingerprint scanner to work, the company has been tipped to take help from Himax for the CMOS image sensing technology required for the feature implementation.

As this information is coming several months, and a year in case of Galaxy Note 9, before the official launch of the smartphones, we would advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.
