Samsung is all set to kick-start its Happy Hour sale on its online store and on Amazon India. The new sale, which will run between 12 noon and 2pm on Tuesday will bring discounts to the Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro. Customers will also get a chance to receive up to 90GB of 4G data on Reliance Jio network as a part of the new Samsung sale. Prepaid access to the sale on Amazon India will begin 12 noon on Tuesday under which customers will be required to pay for their orders using credit or debit cards, net banking or through Amazon Pay. However, customers opting cash on delivery will get the sale access post 12.30 pm.
Under the Happy Hours sale, the Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro will be available at a price Rs. 6,990 (originally priced at Rs. 9,190), while the Galaxy On7 Pro is listed with a price tag of Rs. 7,490 (launched at Rs. 11,190). Both the Galaxy On series smartphones debuted in India back in July last year as the successor to the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7.
The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro has a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Exynos processor. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash and packs a 2600mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash and comes with a 3000mAh battery.
Samsung has provided 5-megapixel selfie camera sensors, 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage along with microSD card support (up to 128GB), and dual 4G SIM access on both the Galaxy On5 Pro and the Galaxy On7 Pro. The smartphones run Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and come preloaded with features such as Ultra Data Saving mode and a Bike mode. Also, there is a palm gesture selfie model and a 120 degree selfie mode.
Alongside the discounts on the prices of the Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro and the Galaxy On7 Pro, Amazon is offering Jio Prime Complementary offer under Samsung's Happy Hour sale. Customers need to charge their Jio accounts with Rs. 309 to get entitled to receive an additional 10GB 4G data access. Similarly, a recharge of Rs. 509 brings an additional 15GB 4G data. The applicable additional data can be availed for a maximum of six recharges.
