Samsung is leaving no stone unturned ahead of its April 29 'Kapture The Moment' event, where the company is expected to unveil the next camera-centric smartphone.

Samsung Mobile has posted a teaser video on Instagram that shows the venue of the event (Red Dot Design Museum, Singapore) zoomed in-and-out. The video almost confirms that Samsung is all set to launch its new camera phone which is likely to feature optical zoom. The Instagram post by Samsung Mobile said, "Meet #TheNextGALAXY. Join us for a live update on April 29 at 11AM SGT." The launch timing for the event is 8:30am IST.

We expect that the company will unveil the much-rumoured camera-variant of the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S5 Zoom aka Galaxy K Zoom. The device has been doing rounds on the Internet for a while now and if real will be the successor to the company's first camera-variant of a flagship, the Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Earlier, five purported images of the yet-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom (aka Galaxy K Zoom) smartphone surfaced online, showcasing the device from different angles. While the first two rendered images showed the textured 'band-aid' design of the alleged Galaxy S5 Zoom's rear panel, the other three live images showed the rumoured smartphone itself.

The South Korean giant first teased its 'Kapture The Moment' event in mid-April and confirmed the date and venue for the event.

Earlier reports suggest that the alleged Samsung Galaxy K Zoom's camera will pack a 20-megapixel sensor, 10x optical zoom, image stabilisation and also a Xenon flash. Aside from these imaging features, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom is also expected to include a physical camera shutter button and a throttle to control the zoom, both of which would make it easier to take pictures.

The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is said to bear a 4.8-inch display covering almost the entire front of the device. The handset runs Android KitKat, and it is likely to be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.
