Sony announces Xperia go, Xperia acro S smartphones, coming in Q3

Sony has announced two new additions to their Xperia smartphones line-up today. These smartphones are 3.5-inch Xperia go and 4.3-inch Xperia acro S. They will reach stores worldwide in third quarter this year.

Both the smartphones are water and dust-proof. According to the company, Xperia acro S will be its first smartphone to come pre-loaded with Ice Cream Sandwich. It features a 720p display, 12MP rear camera, and 1.5GHz dual core processor.

On the other hand, the smaller Xperia go will come with 5MP camera, 1GHz dual core processor and Android 2.3.

Xperia go and Xperia acro S also feature easy connectivity options to share and enjoy content on TV, smartphone, laptop or tablet. They will come preloaded with Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited from Sony Entertainment Network giving access to Hollywood blockbusters, TV series and millions and millions of music tracks.
