The biggest highlight of the smartphones is pegged to be a 20-megapixel front camera that comes with Moonlight flash support for enhanced low-light photography.

Just ahead of the launch, most of the specifications of the Vivo V5 were also leaked. While there is no clarity on what the Vivo V5 Plus will bring to the table, apart from the larger form factor, the base variant is expected to feature a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. It will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage while support expandable storage via microSD card (of up to 128GB).

The Vivo V5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's FuntouchOS 2.0 on top. As mentioned, the biggest highlight of the Vivo V5 smartphone is said to be the 20-megapixel front-facing camera which will come with Moonlight flash. At the back, the handset is likely to pack a 13-megapixel sensor.
