If there is one trend that has caught up with almost all smartphone companies in 2017, it has to be a bezel-less display design. Newly leaked images and information has suggested that Chinese smartphone-maker Vivo might also introduce a near bezel-less design with its upcoming X20 and X20 Plus smartphones. Additionally, the smartphones will also feature taller-than-usual aspect ratio of 16:9 as per the leak.

The Vivo X20 smartphone was spotted on FIFA World Cup 2018 posters, shared by Android Headlines, and it seems like the handset will come with a near bezel-less design as seen on smartphones like LG V30 and Galaxy S8. While additional information about the smartphone was not mentioned on these posters, China-based publication called news.sina.com has now revealed additional details about the smartphone as well as its Plus variant.

As per the report, Vivo X20 and X20 Plus are expected to sport 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) displays respectively. The smartphones are said to pack Snapdragon 625 SoC and with 6GB of RAM. The Android 7.1.1 Nougat smartphones are expected to house 3500mAh batteries.

In terms of optics, the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus smartphones are expected to come with 24-megapixel front cameras. The report also mentions that the Vivo X20 might feature in-screen fingerprint scanner, which was demonstrated by Vivo at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2017. However, this particular aspect of the leak might very well be untrue considering how new the technology is. Lastly, the smartphones have been tipped to come with 128GB of built-in storage.
