Xiaomi's next flagship smartphone, believed to be called the Mi 5, has now been tipped to include a fingerprint sensor.

Until now, the fingerprint scanner technology has been seen as a high-end feature and was seen in devices such as the Apple iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One Max, Apple iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and HTC One M9+. However, the feature went mainstream last year as many Indian handset brands such as iberry and Xolo also launched handsets with fingerprint sensors.
