Xiaomi's rumoured Redmi Note 2 Pro smartphone has once again been spotted in an image, this time teased by Xiaomi Co-Founder and President Lin Bin on Weibo. The image shows the yet-to-be-announced smartphone's rear camera.

The teaser image posted on Wednesday corroborates previous leaks of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro, showing a circular camera lens at the back followed by a dual-tone flash below and a circular fingerprint sensor placed below it. It also shows the metal-clad smartphone in Gold colour version. However, the image fails to confirm anything else about the Redmi Note 2 Pro including the name or the launch date.

Another teaser was posted earlier this week hinting the smartphone to launch on November 24. The teaser image said 'Grand Finale' in Chinese, followed by the launch date.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro was last week spotted in a Tenaa listing. As per the listing, the smartphone may feature MediaTek's MT6795 Helio X10 processor; a 5.5-inch full-HD display; 2GB of RAM; 16GB of inbuilt storage; a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop, and pack a 3060mAh battery. It also adds that the Redmi Note 2 Pro will measure 149.9x75.9x8.7mm and weigh 165 grams.

The Redmi Note 2 Pro is tipped to share the same specifications as the Redmi Note 2. The only difference would be an inclusion of a fingerprint sensor and a metal build.

The company is also rumoured to launch the Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship smartphone along with the Redmi Note 2 Pro, the chances of which seem dicey for now. A recent leak tipped the Xiaomi Mi 5 to run Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 SoC, and if that is correct, the smartphone may only hit retail shelves in Q1 2016, after the SoC is launched. Another report pegged December 3 to be launch date of the Mi 5, which remains a possibility if the launch and release are widely separated.
