Xolo Q2100 With Fingerprint Scanner to Launch at Rs. 13,499

Xolo is set to launch a new smartphone in India called the Xolo Q2100. The highlight of the smartphone will be a built-in fingerprint scanner at the rear, NDTV Gadgets has learnt from its sources.

Our source also tells us the phone will be capable of functioning as a universal remote, indicating the presence of an IR port.

The Xolo Q2100 will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 chipset alongside 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The dual-SIM smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone will come with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with Exmor R sensor and dual LED flash as well as a 2-megapixel front camera.

The Xolo Q2100 will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and be powered by a 2800mAh battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, A-GPS, and FM radio. The phone will come with ambient light sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

Xolo is expected to launch the smartphone within this week, and it will be priced at Rs. 13,499.

Notably, the Xolo Q2100 has also made an appearance on Zauba, the website that tracks import and export manifests.
