Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?

Ambika Sharma: One of the hidden perks of being in a technology development company is the access to every single conceivable connected gadget and smartphone, but my heart lies with Apple. I go almost nowhere without my MacBook Pro, and I am addicted to my iPhone 6 Plus - I just love the battery life and big screen. At work, I also use a Google Nexus 7 tablet and an Intel Powered Dell Venue 8 both of which are loaded with all the Android apps and games so I try everything we build for Android first.

When I'm on the road on my bike I carry my iPod Touch fitted in a magnetic case right on the Harley's tank, and it feeds the speaker console on the bike. I carry an iPad 4th Generation when in for long distance travel on more than two wheels; it gives me a chance to relax with games and catch up on personal mail.

What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?

Ambika Sharma: For work I can't do without BaseCamp, it keeps me upto speed with everything in office. For travel I love Facetune, it is a great app to quickly touch up pictures with near Photoshop results. It's great for travel and very handy on my phone. I can't do without my ET app, it's the first app I log into every morning, with all my news and on the go reading.

What is one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?

Ambika Sharma: I never travel without my backup battery pack, it comes with a solar panel USB addition, so even when there isn't any plug point available, just two-three hours in the sun can bring a phone back to life.

What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?

Ambika Sharma: The day I can truly rig my home and office up with the Internet of (every)thing, but I guess by then there will be a new tech dream to dream.

How has technology changed the way in which you work?

Ambika Sharma: With software development being a big business vertical at Pulp Strategy, technology changes impact us daily - online driven businesses keep on our toes as every change impacts the way we build our solutions and the way we collaborate on business. For internal team collaboration, technology leads almost everything we do, online project mirrors, online projects, live work places, remote access and more. This list is endless and evolving.
