Ultimate Ears, the personal audio specialist owned by Swiss electronics accessories maker Logitech, has launched its latest product in India - the UE Roll 2 - priced at Rs. 8,495 . The Roll 2 is the successor to the UE Roll, which was launched earlier this year at the same price as the UE Roll 2, but is now widely available online for much less.

The UE Roll 2 features 15 percent louder sound and an increased wireless range of 100 feet, while retaining the disc shape and fabric covering of the original product. Like before, it's also IPX7 water resistant and drop-resistant, meant for rugged and outdoor use. It can be clipped onto your bag or belt-loop as well, thanks to the bungee cord loop.

"Thanks to its bungee cord loop, UE Roll was our most portable, convenient, on-the-go speaker in the family," said Ashok Jangra, Logitech, Cluster Category Head - India & SWA. "No other speaker comes with everything you need to hang it in the shower, float it in the pool or attach it to your bike. UE Roll 2 delivers all that and more, with improved sound and wireless range, so you can do more of what you love with even more freedom and flexibility."

The UE Roll 2 also comes with a UE Floatie, which will let you use the speaker in a swimming pool by keeping it afloat. It's available in four colour options: volcano, atmosphere, sugarplum and habanero.

Logitech's last major launch from Ultimate Ears was the UE Boom 2 which was launched in May this year for Rs. 15,995. The company also sells earphones and headphones in India, apart from wireless speakers.
