Xiaomi Smart TV 5A India launch date has been set for April 27, the company announced on Thursday. The company's upcoming addition to its smart TV portfolio is teased to be powered by an unspecified processor with Cortex-A55 cores, and sport thin bezels. Xiaomi is yet to officially reveal specifications for the smart TV ahead of the event, where the company is also scheduled to launch the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G smartphone, along with the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet.

On Thursday, Xiaomi announced on Twitter that it would launch the Xiaomi Smart TV 5A in India on April 27 at 12pm (noon) IST. The company has also set up a microsite for the upcoming smart TV, which teases the features without revealing any specifications such as display size, speaker output, or the processor powering the Xiaomi Smart TV 5A.

As previously mentioned, the Xiaomi Smart TV 5A will be launched in India alongside the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G smartphone and the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet. The Xiaomi 12 Pro made its debut in China alongside the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X in China in December, before coming to global markets in March. The Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. It sports a Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. The handset is equipped with a triple camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 primary sensor.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 5, which will also be launched on April 27, was previously launched in global markets with a Snapdragon 860 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM, in September 2021. The tablet offers up to 256GB of storage and sports a 11-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It features a single 13-megapixel rear camera sensor, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It is powered by an 8,720mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Xiaomi is yet to confirm the specifications of the Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 5 ahead of the April 27 launch date.
