Fossil acquired Misfit Wearables last year but the latter's products post acquisition did not show any involvement by the watch-maker. However, the company's latest product, Misfit Phase, seems to show the union between the two companies perfectly by combining the fitness tracking capabilities of Misfit, with the analog watch design of Fossil. The wearable will start from Rs. 12,550 in India when it will be made available for pre-order on November 7.

Misfit Phase is an interesting wearable as it is neither a complete fitness tracker, as it lacks some features like heart-rate sensor, nor is it comparable to a high-end smartwatch as it doesn't support apps. The wearable essentially tries to get the best out of both these categories and provides fitness tracking capabilities along with notifications from your smartphone.

As per the company, the battery on Misfit Phase lasts for up to six months, after which you are required to replace it, as it is not chargeable. Misfit sports a minimalist design with a round dial and aluminium finish. It comes with options of leather and silicone for straps.

The wearable automatically tracks steps, distance, calories, and light and restful sleep. "Smart-button function allows you to wirelessly play and pause music, take a selfie, control smart home devices, and more," the company says on its website.

Misfit Phase is priced at Rs. 12,550 for black, silver, and navy & gold colour variants, and Rs. 13,984 for black & rose, rose, and navy & grey models.
