This week, we speak to Vipul Aggarwal, the founder of Goodservice, a chat-based concierge application. Aggarwal tells us that he loves Truecaller on his Android phone, but dreams of dual-screen Retina iMac setup. Read on to know a bit more about his tech setup.

Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?
Vipul Aggarwal
: I use a MacBook Pro, and I have two mobile phones. My personal phone is an old iPhone 5, and I bought a OnePlus One to work with Android, where Truecaller is really awesome. That's all the tech I use for now.

What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?
Vipul Aggarwal
: All three apps I can't live without are on my iPhone - Goodservice takes care of everything I need, while Gmail is obviously important. A lot of work communication also happens on WhatsApp which is why it is so important.

Obviously, my all-time highest-used app is still Chrome on my laptop - I'm on it 10-12 hours a day!

What is the one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?
Vipul Aggarwal
: I can't travel without my MacBook Pro, with simple Rs. 800 Samsung headphones. With it, I can work from anywhere. Earlier used to work with a MacBook Air but it was too slow at times. Of course, I also always need to have a charger cable for both my laptop, and my iPhone.

What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?
Vipul Aggarwal
: It's probably too expensive of a setup, but I'd like an iMac Retina display 3.3 GHz with dual screen setup, at both my home and office. The iMacs should be connected to a Bose surround sound music system, and I'd like a MacBook Air, for portability.

How has technology changed the way in which you work?
Vipul Aggarwal
: Work has always been about technology and with technology for me, given that I was a coder. But yes, mobile Internet makes life easy when driving or traveling. Though we need 3G everywhere to truly enjoy that, and 4G now. This is something that still needs work in India though.
