Talks surrounding Samsung's cloud-based service, S Cloud have been on for quite a while now. The company was expected to launch the service at its Galaxy S III event, but failed. Looks like we can now hope to see Samsung's unfinished business take shape. German site BestBoyz published a hands-on video of S Cloud appearing in the Settings menu of the Galaxy Note II.

Users will require a Samsung account, which they can choose to hook to their Dropbox account as well to sync photos and videos. Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Camera users are in for a real treat as they can take advantage of 50GB free Dropbox space for two years.

Another German site netzwelt.de, which spotted the service at the company's Unpacked event in Berlin, stated that the service was listed as simply 'Cloud' on the Galaxy Camera and not S Cloud specifically. Both the Galaxy Note II and the Galaxy Camera come with Jelly Bean on-board.

There is a possibility that Samsung may allow S Cloud to function on Android 4.1 or later. With devices like the Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note 800 and Galaxy Note due to receive the Jelly Bean update soon, it will be interesting to see how the service functions between these various Samsung devices.

Answers to questions like "what other features will S Cloud offer?" shall be revealed soon as Samsung is expected to officially uncover the service this October.
