Twitter has finally added support to upload slow-motion videos for iPhone users.

The new addition is meant for iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus users, as these three phones natively support the recording of slow-motion videos. Prior to this announcement, the iPhone users had tough time sharing slow-motion videos as most apps didn't recognise the videos and played them at full speed.

The micro-blogging site announced the news via a tweet and said, "New! iPhone users can now upload and share slow-motion videos. Enjoy your favourite moments just a liiiittle longer..."

With the latest update, Twitter will automatically recognise slow-motion videos and play them at the speed they were shot at.

To recall, iPhone 5s supports Slo-mo video at 120fps while the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support Slo-mo videos at 120fps or 240fps.

Twitter earlier this week started rolling out an improved quote tweet feature to iPhone and Web users. The company also promised that the feature will come to Android users soon.

With the revamped quote tweet feature, Twitter now essentially embeds the tweet below the text, instead of just quoting it as text.

Further, users get additional 116 characters to add along with the 140 characters of the quoted tweet. With the feature, Twitter acknowledged users' complaints about the limited characters available to them while quoting tweets.

The micro-blogging site recently revamped the profile layout for its Android and iPhone app with 'bigger photos' and more.

Last month, Twitter added embeddable video widget for websites - with it, users can now embed Twitter-hosted videos on any supported website.
