The Baudelaires start a new life at boarding school where they meet a pair of mysterious siblings whose tragic lives are very similar to their one.
Along with Count Olaf's (Neil Patrick Harris) punishing workout schedule, the Baudelaires are striving hard to keep a balance between their studies and Olaf's allotted tasks.
Later, Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and infant Sunny (Presley Smith) get new guardians in a fashionable building.
But when the Baudelaires hitch a ride with a volunteer singing candy stripers, it lands them in the horrifying Heimlich Hospital. Thankfully, it has an enormous library run by Hal (David Alan Grier) — and the library might take them closer to the answers related to their parents' mysterious past.
A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2 Web Series Cast, Episodes, Release Date, Trailer and Ratings
Through a combination of fourth-wall breaking, self-deprecation, black humour, absurdist storytelling, and three interesting children surrounded by an eccentric bunch of adult characters, A Series of Unfortunate Events made a splash with its debut on Netflix last year, successfully bringing Lemony Snicket's – pen name of author Daniel Handler – best-selling children's book series to life. Part of that success was owing to Handler's own heavy involvement: he executive produced the show, wrote more than half the episodes, and even had a hand in composing the opening theme.
