Rocksteady's much-anticipated action-adventure game, Batman: Arkham Knight, was showcased at the pre-E3 2014 event by Sony in the form of a trailer introducing one of the staple villains of the series, the Scarecrow, as well as the much-anticipated Batmobile.

The 5-minute trailer starts off showing Batman and his mission to search Penguin in the city of Arkham. Batman jumps off a building and glides his way through other towers and landing right on the Batmobile.

The Batmobile is one of the important elements of the game. It can go through almost anything whether it is a wall or an iron railing. Users can also use the Batmobile as a weapon. Before using the Batmobile as a weapon, we see a small animation where the vehicle changes itself into its aggressive mode sticking out a machine gun on top of it.

The trailer shows us the character of Penguin and his men facing off against Batman. However, the screen freezes and the character of the Scarecrow is introduced to us. "How many more bones would you crush," the Scarecrow says. "How many lives will you destroy in pursuit of what you call justice? You are the product of everything you fear: violence, darkness, helplessness."

Polygon reports Andrew House, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA), stating that the Scarecrow Nightmare missions in the Batman: Arkham Knight are exclusively available on the PlayStation consoles.

Batman: Arkham Knight's release was postponed last week from October 14 this year to sometime in 2015. The reason for the delay of the final version of the Rocksteady and Warner Bros' Arkham series was not mentioned. The game was originally planned to arrive on Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One and Windows PC systems.
