Gmail introduces custom themes, now set your own background image
Themes in Gmail have always been around in one form or another. Gmail had revamped its look in November last year by incorporating various new features including HD Themes.

But now folks at Google decided to add a personal touch to them by offering custom themes in Light and Dark options. The feature is expected to roll out over the next couple of days to all users.

With this feature, you can personalise your background theme by choosing to upload your own images, selecting Google+ photos or pasting an image URL. If you're not happy with these, then there's an option of Featured photos with images in various genres like art, nature and architecture to choose from.
