India Funding Roundup: Explara, MyIndianStay, Satvacart, YourDost, BookMyBai

Explara
Bengaluru-based Explara, an online event discovery, ticketing, and registration platform, has raised Rs. 3.2 crores from businessman Ness Wadia, Singapore Angels and Hyderabad Angels. Founded in 2009 by Santosh Panda, the company plans to roll out its movie ticketing service next month.

MyIndianStay
Panjim-based home-stay aggregator MyIndianStay has reportedly raised $200,000 (about Rs 1.3 crores) in angel funding from institutional investors. Founded in 2012 by Shan Gehlot and Umesh Agarwal, the startup reportedly lists over 5,000 properties on the website, out of which 30 percent are verified.

Satvacart
Gurgaon-based online grocery store SatvaCart has reportedly secured seed funding of Rs. 12 crores, in its second round of angel funding. Founded in 2014 by Rahul Hari, the startup plans to expand to other geographies and expand its technology backbone.

YourDost
Bengaluru-based online support group YourDost has reportedly raised Rs. 2.5 crores in an angel round of funding. Founded in 2014, the platform reportedly has a registered user base of 10,000, and a team of 75-plus experts, driving 300 one-on-one interactions a day.

BookMyBai
Mumbai-based Bookmybai, an online marketplace for hiring verified people for local services has reportedly raised Rs. 1 crore in angel funding from 50k Ventures. Founded six months ago by Anupam Sinhal and Vikash Chouwdhury, Bookmybai currently operates in six cities, and plans to expand its operations to ten cities by the end of the financial year.
