The intelligence departments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have tied up with a cloud-based business automation solution provider, Plumsoft Solutions to deploy automated background verification system for government employees.

This cloud-based platform will centralise all the employee data from across different government organizations, thereby making background verification process and access hassle-free, the Hyderabad-based firm said in a statement on Thursday.

The platform will reduce the background verification process from months to days and simplify the process through online coordination between various concerned departments. This will also ensure real-time visibility into the progress and workloads and eliminate duplication of information. The data will be highly secured and yet accessible from anywhere.

This platform will be deployed to respective police departments this year and is expected to cover details from across 22 locations initially.

"With Plumware's competency, our department can now update and monitor background verifications in no time. This application has enabled us to focus on other compelling issues," said Andhra Pradesh Police' Superintendent of Police, Intelligence, N.S.J. Laxmi

Plumsoft Solutions' CTO J.V.R.K Sastry said the platform reduced errors and scope for security compromises which was a concern for the police department.
