Apple is expected to launch its next iPhone model, believed to come in two versions - 4.7-inch (iPhone 6) and 5.5-inch (iPhone 6L), at an event on September 9, which is just a few weeks away from now. But the leaks related to the device just don't stop coming in.

The latest in the series of leaks comes from a site named Best Tech Info, which has posted an image of an alleged 5.5-inch iPhone 6 rear panel next an alleged 4.7-inch iPhone 6 rear panel. The site claims that the image has been sourced from the company's supply chain in China.

The leaked image that has surfaced online shows the internals of the alleged 4.7-inch iPhone 6 rear shell that will include the various components of the device, such as the antenna. The leaked image also shows the outer-side of the rear panel of the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model (recently tipped to be called the iPhone 6L), and though it does not offer much detail about the handset, it does show cut-outs for housing the rear camera with flash and for the Apple logo branding in the middle - which are both in-line with previous leaks.

The report is further in-line with earlier reports, which claimed that the rumoured September 9 launch event will only see the launch of 4.7-inch iPhone 6, while the 5.5-inch version will be showcased later. There have been reports that tipped the two rumoured iPhone 6 models might be launched at separate events - aligning to the current report.

Additionally, a new leaked schematics have again tipped that the upcoming iPhone might see the introduction of a new 128GB inbuilt storage variant. Gforgames, citing a Weibo user, claims that the alleged iPhone 6 will be launched in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants. The leaked schematics purportedly show that the 16GB storage will be supplied by Hynix and Toshiba, while the 64GB will be offered by Hynix, Toshiba, and SanDisk. Lastly, the schematics show that the new 128GB storage will be supplied by Toshiba only. Interestingly enough, there is no mention of 32GB storage variant in the leaked schematic.

Previously, another Chinese report had claimed the alleged 5.5-inch iPhone 6 variant would feature a 128GB storage variant. The report had further suggested that the 128GB storage variant would be limited to the bigger 5.5-inch variant of the rumoured iPhone 6, and the alleged 4.7-inch iPhone 6 would be offered with the conventional 64GB as its maximum storage variant, while the 16GB variant will be dumped for both models.

All these leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt as Apple has not mentioned anything about the upcoming device and the legitimacy of the leaks remains questionable.
