 
                 
            
            LeEco and Coolpad have launched the Cool Changer 1C, the second smartphone under their joint venture, in the Chinese market. The new Cool Changer 1C smartphone is now up for registration via Coolpad official site as well as LeMall.com and Jd.com. Priced at CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 9,000), the Cool Changer 1C will be available to buy from December 6 in China.
The Cool Changer 1C features a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS (1080x1920 pixels) display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, with four cores clocked at 1.2GHz and the other four running at 1.8GHz. It packs 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of storage.
The smartphone runs on EUI 5.8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports dual-SIM (both Nano-SIMs). LeEco and Coolpad's Cool Changer 1C sports a 13-megapixel camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and 4K video recording support. The Changer 1C also packs an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, and 80-degree wide-angle lens.
The Cool Changer 1C measures 152x74.8x8.2mm and weighs 172 grams. The handset comes with 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GS, and USB Type-C connectivity options. It is backed by a 4060mAh battery and supports fast charging.
The Cool 1 Dual was the first smartphone launched under LeEco and Coolpad's Cool smartphone range in August. It was launched at a starting price of CNY 1,099. To recall, LeEco became the largest shareholder in Chinese smartphone company Coolpad with a total of 28.9 percent shares in its name.
