Intex Aqua Y2 Pro With Android 4.4.2 KitKat Launched at Rs. 4,333

Intex on Monday has launched a new affordable Android 4.4.2 KitKat smartphone in its Aqua series, dubbed Aqua Y2 Pro, at Rs. 4,333.

The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) Intex Aqua Y2 Pro features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display. It packs a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The Aqua Y2 Pro sports a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The 4GB of built-in storage can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Connectivity options on the Intex Aqua Y2 Pro include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM radio. It packs a 1600mAh battery, and is available in 2 colours - Black and Navy Blue.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, "The Aqua Y2 Pro as the name suggests is handcrafted for the gen-Y crowd and is our latest addition to the Aqua collection. With unique pricing, the all new Y2 Pro runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is the most reasonably priced 3G smartphone in 4.5 inch screen. We are proud to announce a phone which is made for the millennials."

The company recently launched 3 new Aqua-series smartphones for the Indian market - the Aqua Star, Aqua Star HD and Aqua Star Power. The Intex Aqua Star is priced at Rs. 6,990, the Intex Aqua Star HD at Rs. 8,690, and the Aqua Star Power at Rs. 7,490.

Notably, all the three smartphones run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, support dual-SIM, come with 8GB of inbuilt storage, and are powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processors coupled with 1GB of RAM.
