The new Intex smartphone has been made available online exclusively via Flipkart starting Wednesday. The company stresses that the new Cloud 4G Star is the "best package" available in the sub-Rs. 10,000 category. The Intex Cloud 4G Star is likely to compete against the likes of Motorola Moto E (Gen 2) 4G and Xiaomi Redmi 2 which are available around the same price point. The Intex Cloud 4G Star supports LTE bands in India.

The dual-SIM based Intex Cloud 4G Star runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Cloud 4G Star comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. On the connectivity front, the Intex Cloud 4G Star offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.
The smartphone packs a 2300mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 210 hours of standby time. The Intex Cloud 4G Star measures 140x71x9.45mm, weighs 136 grams, and will be available in Black and Champagne colours.
