The company announced that the Intex Aqua Star will be available at Rs. 6,990, the Intex Aqua Star HD at Rs. 8,690, and the Aqua Star Power at Rs. 7,490.
Notably, all the three smartphones run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, support dual-SIM, come with 8GB of inbuilt storage, and are powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processors coupled with 1GB of RAM. However, the chipset differs as the Aqua Star and Aqua Star HD come with the MediaTek MT6582M SoC, while the Aqua Star Power packs a MediaTek MT6582 SoC. Connectivity options on the new Intex Aqua series smartphones are also similar as they include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, Micro-USB, and 3G.
Further, all the three phones come preloaded with apps such as like Matrabhasha, Intex Play, Intex Games Club, NewsHunt, Zapak, OLX, Opera Mini and Xender. The Aqua Star will be available in Black and White; while the Aqua Star HD will come in Leather Black and Grey colours. The Aqua Star Power will come in Black, Blue, and Grey colours.
The Intex Aqua Star comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display; an 8-megapixel rear camera; a 2-megapixel front camera; 8GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and a 2000mAh battery.
The Intex Aqua Star HD comes with 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS OGS display; a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera; a 5-megapixel front camera; 8GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and a 1800mAh battery.
Intex Aqua Star Power, on the other hand, comes with a large 3000mAh battery, one of the highlight of the device. Other specifications include a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display; an 8-megapixel rear camera; a 2-megapixel front camera, and OTG support.
