Chinese smartphone manufacturer iVoomi on Monday announced the launch of limited edition Matte Red colour variants for its flagship i-series smartphones. The limited edition will be available for a flash sale on Flipkart on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 12pm IST. The iVoomi i1 and iVoomi i1s were launched in India on January 10, priced at Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 7,499, respectively. As part of a launch offer, the iVoomi i1s was available at Rs. 6,999. iVoomi claimed that the i1 and i1s sold out "in a matter of few minutes," and that the gross market value of the sale being Rs. 150 million to 200 million.

iVoomi i1, i1s specifications
The iVoomi i1 and iVoomi i1s come with 18:9 displays, fingerprint sensors, dual rear cameras. The two smartphones are identical to each other, with the difference being RAM and inbuilt storage. While the iVoomi i1 comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, the iVoomi i1s sports 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. Both the dual-SIM (Micro) smartphones run Android 7.0 Nougat. The handsets are powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737v SoC.

In terms of camera, the iVoomi i1 and i1s feature a dual rear cameras setup. The smartphones have a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor, coupled with an autofocus system and flash. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear panel, below the camera. Both the smartphones feature an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

The inbuilt storage on iVoomi i1 and i1s are expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). In terms of connectivity, the smartphones feature 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack. They are both fuelled by a 3000mAh battery, measure 151x70.8x9.35mm, and weigh 165 grams.
