LG G7 is yet to receive an official confirmation. But ahead of any formal announcement, some renders and a 360-degree video have surfaced online that show a notch on the upcoming LG flagship as well as highlight the presence a dual rear camera setup and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The renders also hint that the handset will come with a metal frame that will have antenna lines. As per a previous report, the price of the LG G7 is set at KRW 899,800 (approximately Rs. 54,700), while the LG G7 Plus could debut at KRW 1 million (roughly Rs. 60,700) in South Korea. LG has separately filed a trademark application for the LG Q7 handset that is likely to be the mini version of the next flagship.

The renders, courtesy OnLeaks that partnered with folks at Mr. Phone, show what all we can expect from the LG G7. You can clearly see the thin-bezel display that has a room for the notch but not has enough space for a front-facing fingerprint sensor. The 360-degree video, which also essentially previews the renders from all sides, highlights the curved build of the next LG G series flagship. Both sources show that there is a headphone jack on the smartphone that sits on the bottom-left side, accompanied with a USB Type-C port and a loudspeaker grill. On the left, the renders show just one button that is likely to be the power/ lock key, while the right side has three buttons, including a volume rocker and a suspicious key that might enable access to a personal assistant. This move appears similar to Samsung that has already been providing a dedicated Bixby key on its flagships.

On the back, there is a vertically-placed dual rear camera setup that has an LED flash module. The backside view of the LG G7 also shows a fingerprint sensor. It is unclear whether the company is planning to offer a glass back on the G7. However, considering the LG G6 that had a Corning Gorilla Glass, the new flagship could include a premium glass back that will also enable wireless charging support.

The top side of the smartphone, as per the renders, suggests two microphones. These microphones are likely to enhance the sound, especially in voice calls and while recording videos.

If we believe some ongoing rumours, the LG G7 will debut alongside the LG G7 Plus sometime in May. The company is also said to use an LCD panel instead of an OLED display to majorly reduce the production cost of its next flagship. The handset is rumoured to have a Snapdragon 845 SoC with an upgraded RAM in either 4GB or 6GB options and offerings such as a 16-megapixel rear image sensor, Quad-DAC audio system, and a 3000mAh battery.

Alongside making way for the G7, LG has filed a trademark with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) for securing the name of the LG Q7. This new model is likely to be an upgrade of the LG Q6 that arrived as the mini G6 model last year. As spotted by the Netherlands' LetsGoDigital, the trademark application for the LG Q7 has been filed on February 28. We can thus safely expect the new model sometime around the launch of the G7.
