Reliance Retail's Lyf brand has unveiled yet another smartphone - this time, in its Future One series - the Lyf F1S. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 10,099 and comes with a Rs. 500 JioMoney Cashback, effectively bringing the price down to Rs. 9,599. The company says the smartphone is available to buy online via AJIO.com in Black, Gold, and Grey colour variants. It comes with the Jio Happy New Year Offer.
The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) Lyf F1S smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Concore Glass 3 and a pixel density of 423ppi. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 MSM8976 SoC (four cores clocked at 1.4GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz) coupled the Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The Lyf F1S bears a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera coupled with LED flash, apart from a 5-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. Notably, only SIM card slot supports 4G connectivity at a time, while the other is limited to 2G. Connectivity options on board the Lyf F1S include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, USB Type-C (USB2.0), FM radio, and GPS/ A-GPS.
In terms of sensors, the Lyf F1S features an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It weighs in at 146 grams, and measures 148x73.1x7.7mm. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery that's rated to deliver up to 11.5 hours of talk time on 4G, and 320 hours of standby time.
