Micromax Canvas L With Android 4.4 KitKat Now Available Online at Rs. 10,499

Micromax's new Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone, the Canvas L, is now available at Rs. 10,499 via an online retailer. The company had on Tuesday silently listed the smartphone on its website without any price.

The Micromax Canvas L (A108) is being sold at a discounted price by the online retailer, down from a listed MRP of Rs. 11,499. It is a dual-SIM device (GSM+GSM) that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The Canvas L features a 5.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while also housing a 2-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera. The Micromax Canvas L smartphone also includes a 2350mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 210 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G.

The Micromax Canvas L is listed on Infibeam, and is available in a Black colour option only.

The Canvas L comes preloaded with apps such as Kingsoft Office, BMS, Clean Master, Games club, Getit, Hike, Miskin, Mi Games, Mi Insurance, Mi live, Mi security, MAD, Opera Mini, Swift key, and True Caller.

Last week, Micromax had launched a budget Android 4.4 KitKat-based Canvas smartphone, the Canvas Fire (A104), at Rs. 6,999.

The Canvas Fire (A104) features a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixel) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor alongside 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while it also houses a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone includes 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
