Micromax launches A110 Superfone Canvas 2 and A90S Superfone PIXEL

Micromax seems to be looking at the large screen quite aggressively. The Indian handset maker has now officially announced two new smartphones - A110 Superfone Canvas 2 and A90S Superfone PIXEL.

Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2, is a successor to the company's Canvas A100 device launched in August.  It sports a 5-inch TFT capacitive touch screen IPS display with 480x854 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 4.0 and boasts dual-SIM (dual standby) connectivity.

Only few days ago, we had mentioned that this smartphone was retailing online for Rs. 9,999 and the official best price for this smartphones is Rs. 9,990. Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 is available in two colour options - Black and White.

Other features of this smartphone include 1GHz dual-core processor and 2GB internal storage which can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD. Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 comes with a 2000 mAh battery claiming up to 5 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.

Micromax A90S Superfone PIXEL on the other hand is the successor A90 Superfone Pixel smartphone, which too was launched in August 2012. It supports a 4.3-inch AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The other features of this smartphone include 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1600mAh battery, 8 megapixel rear camera and 0.3 megapixel front camera. This smartphone also runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Priced at Rs. 12990/-, this smartphone is available in Black and White colour options.

Not so long, another 5-incher smartphone from Micromax, A101 had cropped up online. The Micromax A101 sports a 5.2-inch TFT WGCA display with a 800x480 pixel resolution and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich (v4.0.4). There are two cameras on-board, a 5MP rear facing camera with LED flash and a front camera. Though Homeshop18 had listed this with a price tag of Rs. 9,999, for now there is no official word about the pricing or launch date of this smartphone.
