Samsung may start shipping its next generation Galaxy Note device from September and its rumoured smart watch from October.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Note III and the Galaxy Gear smart watch at an event in Berlin on September 4. Now, a report in the Sam Mobilenotes the shipping time of both the Samsung Galaxy Note III and the alleged Galaxy Gear smart watch. The site notes that its sources confirmed week 36, which is from September 2 to September 8, as the likely time when the South Korean major will start shipping its latest Note device while the Galaxy Gear smart watch would start shipping from week 40, which is from September 30 to October 6.

The site also claims that Samsung has decided to drop the 16GB storage variant from its future smartphones which means the lowest storage that will ship with the Galaxy Note III will be 32GB. While there is no official word on the reasons behind this, it could possibly be a reaction to the bad press that the Samsung Galaxy S4 received when it emerged that the 16GB Galaxy S4 has only 8.82GB of internal storage.

Another report by Sam Mobile has revealed the innards of the Galaxy Gear smart watch.

The rumoured specifications of the alleged smart watch include a 1.5GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos 4212 processor with 1GB of RAM. It will reportedly feature a 1.67-inch AMOLED display that will have a resolution of 320x320 pixels. It is likely to include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. The leaked specifications also claim that the smart watch may include a 2-megapixel camera.
