The latest Swipe MTV Slash tablet features a 7.0-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. The device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The device supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM) and dual standby.
It has 4GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via TF (transflash) card. There is a 5.0-megapixel camera at the back accompanied by a flash in addition to a front facing VGA camera. The dimensions of the device are 188x108x9.4mm and it weighs around 290 grams. Backing the device is a 3,000mAh battery. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, 3G, G-Sensor, Google, FM Radio with recording.
Other products launched by Swipe in partnership with MTV include the Swipe MTV Volt and Swipe MTV Volt 1000. Swipe has launched its Volt products under a new category which it calls 'Fablets'. The new Swipe MTV Slash has also been launched under the same product category.
Swipe Volt features a 6.0-inch display and is powered by 1GHz dual core processor. It is a dual SIM device and is based on Android 4.1. The Swipe Volt comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,680. It also includes a huge 3,200mAh battery.
The other 'fablet', Swipe MTV Volt 1000, comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM. It sports a 6-inch display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The device comes at a price tag of Rs. 11,999.
