Founded back in 1969 as Samsung Electric Industries, Suwon, South Korea-headquartered Samsung Electronics today makes everything from televisions to semiconductors. It released its first Android smartphone in 2009, and can be credited with the launch of the first Android tablet back in 2010. The company is among the biggest players in the smartphone market in the world. It has recently developed smartphones running Tizen OS, as an alternative to its Android-based smartphones. Samsung's latest mobile launch is the Galaxy Z TriFold. The mobile was launched in 2nd December 2025. with a resolution of 2,160 pixels by 1,584 pixels at a PPI of 269 pixels per inch. The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and it comes with 16GB of RAM. The phone packs 1TB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold packs a 200-megapixel (f/1.7) + 12-megapixel (f/2.2) + 10-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 10-megapixel (f/2.2) + 10-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies. The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold runs Android 16 and is powered by a 5,600mAh non removable battery. It measures 159.20 x 214.10 x 3.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 309.00 grams. The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is a dual SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.
