It released its first Android smartphone in 2009, and can be credited with the launch of the first Android tablet back in 2010. The company is among the biggest players in the smartphone market in the world. It has recently developed smartphones running Tizen OS, as an alternative to its Android-based smartphones. Samsung's latest mobile launch is the W26. The mobile was launched in 11th October 2025. with a resolution of 1968 pixels by 2184 pixels. The Samsung W26 is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and it comes with 16GB of RAM. The phone packs 1TB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung W26 packs a 200-megapixel (f/1.7) + 12-megapixel (f/2.2) + 10-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 10-megapixel (f/2.2) + 10-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies. The Samsung W26 runs Android 16 and is powered by a 4400mAh non removable battery. It measures 158.40 x 143.20 x 4.20 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 215.00 grams. The Samsung W26 is a dual SIM mobile that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C and Active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
