For our OnePlus 6 gaming review, we put the smartphone through its paces with some of the hottest games such as PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor to find out if it is up to the task. The smartphone comes with 6GB and 8GB RAM options, and has the Snapdragon 845 processor to handle everything the games throw its way, while Adreno 630 GPU handles the graphics.
In terms of gaming specific features, the OnePlus 6 has a few tricks up its sleeve. In addition to Gaming Do Not Disturb Mode which turns off notifications and other interruptions like accidentally pressing hardware keys, ensuring complete immersion in select games after adding them to a DND list and the self-explanatory Dash Charge While Gaming, you can also throttle bandwidth to other apps while you're gaming to ensure your experience is as lag-free as possible. Known as Network Boost, it's handy in titles with online connectivity like PUBG Mobile and Super Mario Run. You can also route incoming calls via speaker and disable automatic brightness as well.
