Pokemon Go players will get a chance to encounter Dratini, Mr. Mime, Growlithe, and more Pokemon during the day and Chinchou and Lanturn will spawn during the night when the lanterns start to glow.

With the new 'Year of the Dog' event, Niantic is making yet another addition to Pokemon Go's numerous events to occur recently. First, there was a Gen 3 event, which added flying and Dragon-type Pokemon such as Rayquaza, Salamence, and more Hoenn. It was followed by a Valentine's Day special event that ended on Thursday itself. In other news, purchasable Team Rocket outfits have also just been added to the game.
