  • Very fast
Austin Shirley (Jan 23, 2019) on Amazon
So far I love this laptop, I have only had it for about a week but nothing wrong with it at all. I gave the battery life a four stars because it seems to run low pretty fast but I have the brightness all the way up and running on the highest performance mode.

  • works great, daughter loves it
    J. Zimmerman (Jan 12, 2019) on Amazon
Daughter recently graduated boot camp - uses this to kill time at night or take online courses while recovering from injuries. She's very happy with it. Good battery life, great display, very light - may buy one for myself.

  • Love it
John Roberts (Nov 15, 2018) on Amazon
New laptop after owning a Lenovo yoga for 6 years. This was less expensive (no touch screen) but works amazing. Large bright display. Fast and zippy. Totally love my new laptop.

  • It is lightweight and fast. I got the blue one and I am very satisfied with this laptop
Tural (Nov 20, 2018) on Amazon
Metal case for display is good to protect from damages, also look is very good, one cons is it takes fingerprints easily and you always have to clean it.

I absolutely love this laptop. Love the 15? display, light weight, fast startup and fast shut down. Mouse pad tracks very well. Runs all of my programs effortlessly.

  • Great design and performance for the money

I'm a computer science student and it handled everything I throw at it. I continually have 6+ tabs of chrome open with 1 PDF on internet Explorer while coding and it doesn't even stutter. I would recommend this laptop.

  • Makes quiet screeching noises near keyboard
    Agentwolf44 (Oct 12, 2018) on Amazon
It makes very quiet screeching noises near the keyboard, the noise doesn't seem to be noticeable with normal use, but I'm more worried about what this could mean in terms of reliability. Otherwise the laptop runs great and the battery seems great and performance is good. The other reason I deducted two stars though is that the shipper doesn't require signatures. This means they'll just leave the package on your doorstep and hope you get to it before anyone else does. For a $900 laptop, that's very risky.Update: So far, my sister loves this laptop, battery life is excellent, laptop is light, screen is good, and keyboard works well.Update 2: Laptop does not charge at all anymore within only 1 year of owning it.Update 3: Turns out the charger got damaged and is now charging fine with a new charger, on that note, it is difficult to find chargers for this specific laptop. The speakers are also fairly quiet and is probably only about 30-40% of the max volume of my Lenovo gaming laptop, but it is quite clear.

  • Decent
HS (Jan 23, 2019) on Amazon
It needed a lot of driver updates and a bios update to run properly - I had issues with it not waking from sleep mode but that's solved now. The device I received does not make the high pitched noise (I've returned laptops for that reason before as I'm sensitive to that). The colour is not nearly as vibrant as the listing photos but still very nice (I got the teal one). Bought it for 850.

  • The photos misrepresented the colour alot, so if that matters to you be warned!
Sam (Jan 17, 2019) on Amazon
It loads fast and the display is awesome, sets up really easy, but I was a bit disappointed in the colour of the lap top itself. I ordered it in the green colour with aquamarine trim, and I was looking really forward to having a bright teally laptop, and the trim is just like the picture but the rest is incredibly dark and does not blend, or match itself like it does in the picture. But it's still neat, I'm just a bit disappointed on the misrepresentation because I expecting it to be my favourite colour and it's not. Thats not as important as how it works which is excellent and it shows its great quality.

decent unit but it should have a touch screen, in 2019 all laptops should have a touch screen.

  • If looks don't matter, buy a cheaper Acer
Amazonian Cubenz (Jan 26, 2019) on Amazon
The laptop looks great. Love the aluminum skin. Very lightweight, low profile. Battery life is average. Screen is beautiful for the <$800 market. On die graphics are not robust. They will do great at browsing and general office work, and old games. For general browsing, I never get tearing. Liquid smooth. The track pad leaves something to be desired. If you rest your wrist on the corner of the laptop, the track pad can't decipher every movement. Frustrating if you want a laptop in your lap. Terrible performance out of the HDMI port for an auxiliary 4K screen. This laptop is only used for software dev and internet. If you used it for anything more than that, or if it were your primary source of computing, I highly recommend to go with an I7 and discrete card. This laptop is basically a $500 Acer with keyboard back lighting, thin bezel, small footprint and aluminum skin. I suppose that's enough to add ~ $200 worth of value, yeah?Although this laptop is fine, I would not purchase again. I'd look into the < $1200 market such as Acer or HP.

  • Poor Graphic
Jerry Chen (Nov 16, 2018) on Amazon
A beautiful light weight laptop. Tired of traditional laptop color? It's a good choice. Backlite keyboard with finger print reader. Unfortunately, the Intel® UHD Graphics 620 is not good enough. Blurry when watch YouTube.

GA (Jan 21, 2019) on Amazon
It has extra space to add ssd but it DOESN'T have the connector so it is just an empty space for nothing, so i called Amazon and they send me a new one, and it has the same missing connector so i returned both of them. look the attached pictures that is what it looks like.

  • Problems..
Heather Harcourt (Nov 24, 2018) on Amazon
I was so excited, and loved this computer. It looked awesome, had great quality picture, and a nice keyboard. However after less than a week of use, the screen would flicker while watching anything. The headphone jack also didn't register that the headphones had been unplugged, and therefore did not make any sound when playing anything. A computer should not have these faults after less than a week of use. I sent it back.

  • Pay more to get better if you are not a jonior user!
Cyrus (Jan 11, 2019) on Amazon
After a week of scrutinizing, not as I expected. I had a 2015 ASUS TP301 with 6th series processor which is ways better than this one in 2018 in terms of speed and graphics. Here are the issues:Took about 40 min to install a Matalb 2018 full package, which I believe is not even close to good. Track Pad is awarded in this model, you will experience a looseness around that which in not problematic but annoying also I think trackpad sensitivity is not proper. I kept a record of app opening speed for some rather heavy software, surprisingly the time span is inconsistent. I had an issue with the charging process in my former ASUS in that, charging does not stop after 100%, which is expected to switch on power plug between 97% to 100% and to make that work, you have to unplug, wait a while and then plug, I have the same issue with this new unit. The graphics performance is awful, however, I am not using this for games or high demand applications on the graphic, still is not smooth and proper and you will see some annoying responses while using different softwares. This laptop is a stylish mid range unit but could have been much much better if ASUS has considered some additional features with a little bit higher price or at least buyer had the freedom of choice to customize the same model. In total, I like the light weight, LCD quality and the beauty but regretted buying that! I will return that after another week of use if still has major issues.Update 1: some slight noise sounds started after updating the BIOS to the last version! Awesome! seems to me the fan controller does not work properly, however, the laptop is still cool as a fridge. Thank ASUS for well-designed air circulation system. The speakers sound level is another shame for this laptop. I had a very better experience with my former ASUS unit. If the room is not quite you may not hear anything.
