Anker is a well-known brand when it comes to power banks and equipment to charge smartphones, but the company also manufacturers a variety of audio gear under its Soundcore sub-brand. The company has now launched its latest product, the Anker Soundcore MotionQ wireless speaker, which is priced at Rs. 5,499 and has an IPX7 rating for water resistance. The product is available now through major online and offline stores, and is available in four colours - Black, Blue, Red, and Grey.

The wireless speaker uses Bluetooth for connectivity, and has dual 8W drivers positioned for 360-degree sound output. The IPX7 rating means that you can fully immerse the speaker in water for up to 30 minutes at depths of up to 1m, and makes this an outdoor-friendly audio option. The Anker Soundcore MotionQ has a fabric-wrapped exterior, with the controls at the top.

The device has a claimed battery life of 10 hours on a single charge. Apart from that, the speaker has a built-in microphone, enabling its use as a hands-free device. If you have two MotionQ speakers, the two can be wireless daisy-chained.

The Anker Soundcore MotionQ competes against a number of options in this category, which has gotten crowded of late. Popular options include the Boat Stone 700A, which is IPX6 rated for water resistance, and also features support for Amazon's Alexa voice assistant directly through the speaker at the push of a button. Anker also recently launched the Soundcore Spirit and Spirit Pro wireless earphones in India, priced at Rs. 3,999 and Rs. 4,999 respectively.
