Had for a month now and so far no problems whatsoever. Super-fast, lightweight, fast access to the 1 Tb drive, 6 Gb of RAM means no waiting for anything to load, super-bright 15.6 inch screen with vibrant colors, wi-fi quickly accessed, am using the HDMI port for connecting to a projector/TV, and the trackpad is large and accurate. The trackpad takes some getting used to -- it's big so expect some hand interference until you adjust. All this for under $400??? $367 (before taxes) to be exact. One of the best purchases I've ever made. If the price is still low like this, you really need to buy this Dell.

This Dell notebook is built on price-point, not high-end hardware. It may be a choice for a high school student, but not the quality needed for heading to college. It's not for Grandma either... buy her an easy-to-use tablet. I ranked it 5 stars because it does meet its intended customer needs.

Loved the price and the computer.

I bought this for my brother. He appears to love it as much as I do.I wish if I saved the money I spent on my laptop and got this instead. I bought a Lenovo z50 with these specs:i7-4510U , 1920x1080 , Nvidia 820M, 8GB RAM, 1 TB HDDApart from gaming, this Dell beats my expensive laptop in every way while looking better too. I hate the 1920x1080 desktop scaling on windows. It looks crisper but everything gets too small. This Dell laptop works well and set-up was easy. So far so good - no issues at all.

I have always used Dell for my computing needs. The laptop that I purchased has given me the best price and performance for the money.

So far the performance of this laptop is great. I'm not a gamer so I'm very please with processor speed and graphics. I would recommend this for the average home user.

I love buying things from Amazon. IF there ever is a problem Amazon makes it right. I always check with Amazon before ordering any where else. This computer is exactly what I wanted, right specs, right price, right shipping cost--$0. I knew what specs I wanted. After filtering out stuff I didn't want this one met my needs and my wants. It arrived on time in perfect shape. It was instantly put to use, programs downloaded, info from old computer transferred to new. It has been used daily with no problems, no glitches.

Reasonably priced and easy to use.

it's a dell my 3rd one over the years all been great no reason to think otherwise. i say for the money just get a dell.

I only got a short time to use it as I believe it was damaged in transit. A dark spot was on the top left of the screen, and it slowly spread and got worse. It worked pretty well for the very short time I got to use it. It is such a shame that it happened.

Its ok, not terrific quality for the price. We'll see how it holds up.

I've had this computer for two years and it's held up alright. The USB ports are pretty unreliable, one has nearly failed completely and the other is on its way. Also a little slow but I don't know if that's a software or hardware issue. It's a fine computer for the price though and I don't necessarily regret my purchase.

Physically was in good condition. Would not finish setup and would just chain reboot. Bad HDD. Had to return.

I am unhappy with this product. It's a great computer, but almost immediately after getting it, I noticed a long line - clear down the middle of the screen. I figured it would go away and made no effort to return it, but now, the screen is obstructed by a number of white lines - preventing me from properly seeing a portion of my screen. The screen portion of the laptop must be too thin, and - for this reason - forms these ugly white lines up and down the screen. Perhaps it was jostled in its delivery, or perhaps it's just a poorly made model. All I know is that - as it continues to worsen - I regret not returning/replacing it earlier. The return time offered is short and limited, unfortunately.

I bought this laptop on November 2015 and have used it for personal stuff. Right after the 1 year warranty period ended I started having problems when turning on, last week it didnt turn on at all.As Dell warranty is no longer valid had to take it to a computer shop, and they told me I have to change the screen.Did not expect this from a Dell computer, very dissapointed...

I have had a lot of trouble with the trackpad and the battery/charging. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I get so frustrated I go back to my old Dell. I have owned 4 Dell Computers. I still have 2 old ones that work and this new one that is junk. I'm not sure what the issue is but it is extremely frustrating.

The Dell I purchased is a brand new computer, but it's slower than my daughter's 3 yr old HP notebook! The Dell often doesn't recognize my taps on the mousepad or my clicks on the left clicker. Computer locks up a lot and often disconnects from my wifi. The Dell does not have a lot of apps or added software, so I don't understand the issues it's giving me.

Windows 10 failed within a month. Del support would not fix unless I paid an additional $239 for insurance. Will not purchase another Del product.
