About Transformers: Dark of the Moon Movie (2011)

A Cybertronian spacecraft crash lands on the dark side of Earth's moon. This spacecraft is carrying an invention capable of ending the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The crash gets identified on Earth by NASA, and its President asks the authorities to set a man on the mission to investigate the spacecraft on the Moon.

When Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) learns of a downed Transformers ship on the Moon, he leads a mission to rescue the pilot left behind: his mentor, Sentinel Prime (Leonard Nimoy), an ancient Transformer, once a leader of the Autobots.

Sam (Shia LaBeouf) discovers that the Decepticons are murdering people connected to the mission. Later, he finds that Sentinel is the key to activating the Pillars, and learns about the alliance he made with Megatron (Hugo Weaving) to ensure Cybertron's survival.

Sam's new girlfriend, Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), gets caught by her boss Dylan Gould (Patrick Dempsey) but the Autobots, NEST teams, and Navy SEALs manage to rescue her. Sam and Carly are trying their best to reverse the devastating consequences as the war appears to be in favour of the Decepticons.
