Call of Duty goes back to its roots with Call of Duty: World War 2. As the name suggests, its a return to the World War 2 setting that made the series such a success back in the early 2000s. With 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War being the last history-themed shooter from Activision, here’s what you need to know about Call of Duty’s return to World War 2.

Call of Duty: World War 2 release time and time

Call of Duty: World War 2 release date is November 3 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It should, like past games, unlock at local midnight for each region if you’re purchasing it digitally.

Call of Duty: World War 2 preload time
Given the colossal Call of Duty: World War 2 file sizes, Activision has allowed those buying the game digitally to preload the game right now. That means you can load the game on your PC or console, though it will only be activated on November 3.

Call of Duty: World War 2 PC system requirements

Call of Duty: World War 2 developer Sledgehammer hasn’t given a recommended specification for the game - the developers have only shared specs for a single configuration. Keep in mind that this is the minimum required specification. No recommended hardware configuration has been announced, and this is what the base hardware you need.

  • OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
  • Processor: Intel Core i3 3225 3.3 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1400
