Man Of Steel official game now available for iPhone, iPad, Android

Superman is arriving on your mobile device. The official gaming app for the latest Hollywood movie, Man of Steel is now available on iOS and Android.

The game which is based on the Superman movie works on to stop evil General Zod from invading the earth.

The action based game works with actions similar to other mobile fighting games such as Infinity Blade with swiping gestures for attacking, dodging and blocking. Superman's superpowers also come in the game with flight, super speed and heat vision to help you defeat Zod.

You can play the game in an in-depth story mode or work to set a high score by playing the survival mode. The game also comes with the option of having up to six different suits for Superman borrowed from the Man of Steel movie. Like other games, specific abilities can be upgraded via in-app purchase.

The Zack Snyder-directed "Man of Steel", which features names like Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon, is set the hit theatres in India on June 14.

Nokia has also teamed up with Warner Brothers to bring an exclusive Man of Steel app for its Lumia range of devices.

The iPhone version of the game costs $2.99 while the iPad version is priced at $4.99. The Android version is priced at $4.99. (Rs. 289.37) Adding to the base price of the game, there are also a lot of in-app purchase items that you could opt for during game play.
