The Steam Winter Sale 2017 is now live. As usual, there are deep discounts on a host of games. Like recent sales, there’s a single discounted price for each game through the duration of the sale. This time, the Steam Winter Sale 2017 ends on January 4, 2018 at 11pm IST. Here’s what you should check out.

Best Steam Winter Sale 2017 deals

  • GTA V - the best version of this open-world crime classic is now Rs. 1,174. That’s 60 percent cheaper than the usual Rs. 2,937 price on Steam. However it is important to note that you’ll need 72GB free on your hard drive to download and play the game.
  • The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition - as the name implies, this includes The Witcher 3 as well as all its expansions — Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine in addition to all of its updates and patches that include a reworked user interface. It costs Rs. 399 for the duration of the sale. This is 60 percent cheaper than the Rs. 999 it normally costs on Steam. Keep in mind you’ll need 51GB of space to install it.
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - CSGO is a long-time multiplayer favourite. Now Rs. 320 instead of the usual Rs. 479, it’s 33 percent cheaper than what it costs outside of the Steam Winter Sale. With extremely low system requirements as well as support for macOS, SteamOS, and Linux, it’s as good a time as any to jump in and see what the fuss is about.
  • Tekken 7 - the latest entry in this ever-popular fighting series is 50 percent off during the Steam Winter Sale. At Rs. 494 instead of Rs. 989 makes it worth checking out if you haven’t played it on consoles yet and if the 60GB space requirement doesn’t irk you.

Is PUBG discounted during the Steam Winter Sale 2017?

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) hasn’t received a single price cut since its March 23, 2017 release date on Steam, it’s unlikely to see one anytime soon. More so considering that PUBG just exited Steam Early Access and is now known as PUBG 1.0. Chances are the PUBG price of $30 (Rs. 999 in India) will stay for awhile longer.
