  • An amazing product and keeps up to HPs reputation
Amazon Customer (Jul 8, 2017) on Amazon
Brought this yesterday. An amazing product and keeps up to HPs reputation. Great display with good viewing angles, nice back-lit keyboard, awesome battery life but a little sad touch-pad. The plastic body, although some might not like it, helps keep the weight at about 3kgs which is great according to me. But the power brick is huge and weights another kg. The GTX 1070 also performs well.

  • POOR AND UNRELIABLE BATTERY
Sanjay (Sep 30, 2019) on Amazon
I purchased this laptop in April 2018. Not exactly the best. The main problem is that it overheats. Now the battery has started swelling and has distorted the keyboard and some of the USB/SD slots. I has purchased Extended Warranty from OneAssist but they now refuse to honour it.All in all a disappointment.

  • Everything HP Omen here-
    Yogesh.m (Nov 21, 2017) on Amazon
3 stars are for specs. 2 stars not given due to build quality. (Pls Upvote if you find this helpful)Good Specs but not that good quality. I don't think it's too pricey because if you want all that power with portability, you need to pay a premium. If you can compromise on some performance the 15.6 inch model is really good alternative. It has a GTX 1050 which is not bad and that laptop is also not expensive. I think that model is the best one.

You can go with assembled desktop with extreme gaming components fixed at this price range. . its too pricey in India .Two stars for the specs . And Hp should have used metal for the body of the laptop

  • All great specs but something far worse.
    Shubhaankar G. (Apr 7, 2017) on Amazon
All specs are awesome until you realize that there is no metal body for this laptop. Yep, that's right, You can literally bend the plastic screen. It's disappointing to see something like that in a laptop of this price range.

  • Nonexistent support from HP
Aeqil (Aug 27, 2019) on Amazon
My battery stopped working after about a year. I visited a service centre and was told it might take some time, but they failed to follow up. I then emailed HP customer support, and they assigned a service executive to help.Said executive did not respond even after numerous follow ups through email and phone, and only responded when I complained again to the main customer support helpline. Finally, after over a month of not so much as a quote from a service centre, I was told that the battery could not be fixed. At all.Do not buy this or any high end HP product if you are hoping to rely on their tech support in case it fails (aside from the battery, two keys on my keyboard have also broken - no help there either). I don't know how common the battery issue is, or any other issues, but it's much better to go with a company that can actually help if any problems do arise.
