When the laptop came in the mail and once un boxing it, it sure had a premium feel to it and look a lot nicer then on the Amazon site. This laptop I'm hoping well be a very good asset in the future. I am very satisfied with this and you should get one too if your going to be doing a bit of Gaming and some other tasks.

Awesome laptop for the money. Only complaint is the trackpad, which is a bit smaller and less accurate than I would have liked. Otherwise, if you're in the market for a decent gaming laptop that won't break the bank, this is the one to get.

Green is a color that you either love or hate. I love it. Only one brightness setting for the keyboard, otherwise all 100% positive. comparable specs to every other laptop out there in this range. the optane memory drive is wonderful and the ti 1050 works perfectly for my purposes. the case is wonderfully crafted and the exhaust vents and ports are super tight and well put together. happy to start living with this. HP has always done me right; owned in USA, and thats about the best you can ask for these days. Sure some outprocessing but beats 100% outprocessed. dells are heavier and less sleek in general, and is also USA owned; texas. But HP has always done me well adn the keyboards are quiet and comfortable. Super wide touchpad, lot of real estate. Keyboard is standard, no strange key resizings except left CTRL is 50% smaller for the FN key on the right. otherwise all is exactly where it should be.

My grandson is very happy with the computer. He use the device for the school shores and obviously, games!No problems, fast and fill up all the expectations.

Did meet expectations, hense worth the money

This was an upgrade on my old laptop, and the difference is incredible, My only complaint is that the power cord tends to work itself out of its socket from time to time.

I got this computer replacing an old laptop (physical harddrive crash wiping everything and I didn't backup for 8 months...UGH) that I had for 6 years.I liked the price and was thinking of replacing the 1 TB HDD for a solid state drive. This was not necessary. The 16GB Optane memory makes up for the lack of harddrive speed. I rarely hear the harddrive running.As for gaming, I have only played World of Warcraft which doesn't tax the system at all. I run MSI Afterburner to see how warm my computer gets while running games. Once the game starts, the computer fans kick on and it runs pretty cool.Note: There was a lot of extra garbage loaded on this computer that I removed. This took about an hour or so.

This laptop is great for most games on the market. One of the two issues I had with it was it gets very hot if not kept on a dest, also the battery life is around 1 1/2 while gaming.

Video making and office work

Nice laptop. Great picture and sound. Can hear fans. Battery life seems shorter than advertised. I would buy it again.

Excelente precio

Performs exactly as expected, basically constantly needs to be plugged in ESPECIALLY if gaming but it's to be expected with gaming laptops that aren't too expensive. Optane memory makes it perform like I have 10-12 gb ram rather than 8, runs everything pretty well. Wish I had done research into the graphics card, so definitely take that into consideration when making this purchase, but over all good value for the money.

I use this for work and play. I work in radio and it handles Adobe audition really well for audio editing. I do play a few games as well like GTA5 and Rocket League. Handles just fine!

Excelente inversión

So far, this laptop is 10x faster that the Acer I originally bought (which broke 2 months after purchase). Very reliable everything just plain runs smoothly. Graphics are great. If you change the settings, the battery life is better but I prefer keeping it plugged in and running max performance.

I wasn't trying to spend 1.5k-2k but also not a cheapo machine, this fit the bill. Battery life lasts me two consecutive lectures, the picture is crisp and detailed, the fans swap on hard when gaming but no overheating when playing for long periods. Only complaint is the screen feels flimsy when opening/closing but if you get a hard case for it you won't have that problem.

Was ok I return it not the right one

Nope. Nope. Nope.My laptop died within a month of me buying it.I've spent countless hours on the phone with the HP customer support. They are very sweet but they are not fast at all. It is now about a month later and I still haven't gotten my computer back or any form of replacement. Do not waste your money with these guys.I'm incredibly disappointed and will definitely not be purchasing any more HP products.

I got this because it was recommended for Sims. Everything runs so smooth! Even with almost all the game expansions! Plus I've gotten into Cities: Skylines with some DLCs downloaded, the laptop still runs smoothly!

It's a very good product from hp....Earlier I had problem in hinges of the laptop...But then hp solved it very efficiently...And now I love to use it...I don't use it for gaming purpose but overall it's a very amazing product...You should definitely buy it...:) :).Batter is like My god....Fascinating!!Speakers are good enough...I think Optane memory also works fine.Yes That's all :) :).

Better than I expected, but I have to take breaks from my games more often than I'd like.

Works great for the amount I paid. Runs games just fine!

This is a good computer. But when gaming it has a very loud fan noise, and it heats up very fast.
