HTC was one of the first to enter the smartphone race, but this Taiwanese company has not had it easy over the years. Recently, part of the company - including some of its top engineers - was acquired by Google to work on its Pixel smartphones. Even after this transition, we are seeing good devices such as the HTC U11+ (Review). HTC has now launched a mid-range smartphone called the Desire 12+ in India, priced at Rs. 19,790. It follows the ongoing trend of 18:9 displays and has dual rear cameras. Does it have the overall performance to justify its price tag? We find out.
HTC Desire 12+ Summary
The Desire 12+ sports a 6-inch display with HD+ resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor and 3GB of RAM onboard. It has 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via the dedicated microSD card slot up to 2TB. The Desire 12+ has a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel camera and has a selfie flash next to it. The Desire 12+ is a dual SIM device and has two nano SIM slots. There is support for 4G as well as VoLTE. It has a 2965mAh battery and runs Sense UI on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.

Decent battery life use the phone practically for everything including hotspot accept whatsapp still have almost 25% battery left by the end of the day. The Camera is pretty decent. As I also use an Galaxy S9+.My last full charge was 1 day 4 hours have used the phone for navigation (screen on time 7 hours) as well as hotspot still have 9% battery life. What more would one want from a phone which costs less then Rs. 15000.00Is this review helpful?
